My Philosophy
I don`t believe in quick fixes and I cannot promise you results overnight. I believe that the optimal approach is achieved by creating a balance between what is realistic and what is desired. You will notice that I ask a lot of questions. I do that because I strongly believe that I need to be able to completely understand where you are and with that, find the best way to get you to where you want to be.
I am eager to teach you the importance of meal balance and meal timing, show you easy ways to create meal consistency and above all help you navigate the unpredictability of life while keeping your health a priority.
We will work on creating small changes, such as adding a bit more fiber to your meals or finding an opportunity for a few deep breaths. These small changes can have a big impact on your overall health and wellbeing. I promise no gimmicks and complex detoxes, instead, I will share all of the things I personally do in order to keep myself healthy.
Meet Daira
Daira is a certified nutrition specialist, health coach, and wellness expert, living in Washington DC with her partner and three fur kids. Before starting Metabalance Nutrition, she worked in the medical field providing support in nutrition and lifestyle management then moved into sports nutrition helping athletes in establishing optimal body composition and best fueling practices.

With over ten years of experience, in 2020, she decided to create the Metablance Method as a personalized approach to one's health. Daira received her bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Nutrition and acquired multiple certificates in Health Coaching and Integrative Health Practice. She has found her work as a Nutrition specialist to be the most rewarding of her career.
